Bringing the Bible to Brookwood High School Students

The Brookwood Christian Learning Center provides off-campus Bible education through a concept called Released Time (RT). It’s called “Released Time,” because the students are released from school for one class period of off-campus instruction. RT has been around for 100 years in the United States and in 1952 the US Supreme Court declared that RT is legal if it is off campus and privately funded.

We have found that programs like Brookwood CLC are some of the most powerful ways to connect with today’s teens. Brookwood CLC meets students where they are and provides instruction, answers, nurture, and guidance. Our classroom is an inviting academic setting in which students are free to discuss, learn, and grow. Brookwood students earn a Social Studies Elective credit for passing BCLC courses.
